Amador Foothill Winery – Clockspring Zin Tasting

Something old, something new….Amador Foothill winery’s focus is Clockspring Vineyard Zinfandel. They will be opening older vintages from their personal cellar, th 2009 which was available only to wine club members and for wholesale along with a preview of the 2010 vintage.

Loyal customers are attracted to Clockspring Vineyard Zinfandel because of the vibrant fruit and black pepper spice. Frank Alviso, the pioneering organic grape grower, farms about 350 acres. They expect that Frank will be there to answer your questions and regale you with stories of how he planted the vineyards. Daniel D’ Agostini will also be conducting a book signing of his beautiful coffee table gem Into the Earth – a wine cave renaissance.
